Shock-absorbing damping piston engineered for Epiroc / Atlas Copco hydraulic rock drills. Reduces return impact, vibration and stress on shank adapter and internal components.
This damping piston is manufactured from high-grade alloy steel and undergoes special heat treatment and precision CNC machining to ensure excellent fatigue strength, impact resistance and dimensional stability.
Its function is to absorb part of the return shock energy in the drifter, reducing peak loads on the shank adapter, piston and housing. This improves drilling smoothness, lowers vibration, and extends the service life of surrounding components in demanding mining and tunneling applications.
